Publication Scheme
Our publication scheme describes and categorises information routinely available. It has been developed to give the community greater access to information held by Mackay Regional Council.
The Right to Information Act 2009 requires council to have in place a Publication Scheme. The purpose of this Scheme is to present a consolidated, user-friendly and comprehensive overview of council's organisation, its relationship to the community and the various avenues for public access to council's processes.
