Council meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month commencing at 10am in Council Chambers, which is located on the first floor of the Sir Albert Abbott Administration Building, Gordon Street, Mackay.

Public notice of council meeting

Notice is hereby given in accordance with the Local Government Regulation 2012, section 254B of the Council Ordinary Meeting schedule:

For 2024 and 2025, Ordinary Council Meetings will be held on the fourth Wednesday of each month commencing at 10am in the Council Chambers, Council Administration Building, Gordon Street, Mackay.

Amendment to schedule:

• Wednesday, October 30, 2024
  10am – Ordinary Meeting – Council Chambers, Council Administration Building, Gordon Street, Mackay (5th Wednesday of the month)
• Wednesday, December 11, 2024
  10am – Ordinary Meeting – Council Chambers, Council Administration Building, Gordon Street, Mackay (2nd Wednesday of the month)
• Wednesday, January 29, 2025
  10am – Ordinary Meeting – Council Chambers, Council Administration Building, Gordon Street, Mackay (5th Wednesday of the month)

The meeting scheduled for the 4th Wednesday in November, November 27, 2024, to remain as scheduled, and that following the January 2025 meeting, the schedule will return to the 4th Wednesday of the month.
