Rates

Council rates contribute to funding essential services like libraries, community centres, road and pathway upkeep, beach and park maintenance, waste collection, recycling, environmental projects and other community activities.

Mackay Regional Council sends out rate notices twice a year:

• January/February for period January 1 to June 30
• July/August for period July 1 to December 31
