Emergency sand stockpiles
There are 14 emergency sand stockpiles located across the region.
These sites are for residents to obtain sand for emergency use only, such as protecting a property from flooding in the event of a natural disaster.

Residents must bring their own sandbags and shovel to self-fill bags.
Sandbags can be purchased from most hardware stores. There are also alternative options in creating your own sandbags.
