Sewer maintenance night works

The works are necessary to ensure the longevity of the wastewater pumping system.

The works will begin at 6pm each night and be completed by 6am each morning, weather permitting.

The works will take place on Sydney Street, Stevenson Street, Shakespeare Street and Turner Street.

The sewerage service will not be interrupted by these works, however there may be some minor noise and an increase in odour in the area.

Appropriate controls will be undertaken to minimise any impact.

Some on-street car parks will also be cordoned off during the timeframes to allow for machinery access.

Residents are asked to not park in these areas.
