Free tour on offer for Father's Day

Deputy Mayor Karen May said the Sugar Shed was running the special promotion to celebrate all local dads.

“Kids are looking for different ways to thank their dad and shouting them a tour of Sarina Sugar Shed is an ideal way to share some precious family time and have a fun day out,” Cr May said.

Sarina Sugar Shed coordinator Ian Mason said an extra tour would be added to keep up with increased demand.

“Our award winning, one-hour tours run at 9.30am, 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm, and an extra tour will be added on Father’s Day at 10.30am,” Mr Mason said.

“To receive the special offer, children need to buy at least one child’s ticket within a family and dad gets free entry,” he said.

“A very limited-edition rum release, the Sugar Shed Classic, will also be available from this Friday (August 27) just in time for Father’s Day.”
