Asphalt resurfacing works throughout December

The works will include removing the existing road surface and laying new asphalt.

The night works are expected to take place at the following locations and dates, weather permitting:

• Milton Street, between Graffunder Street and Archibald Street – December 6 and 7.
• Highway Plaza, between Bruce Highway and Francey Drive – December 10.
• Keeleys Road, eastern end toward Slade Point Road – December 11 and 12.
• Hume Street, between Glenella Connection Road and Bridge Road – December  13 and 14.
• Roundabout at the intersection of Hume Street and Glenella Connection Road – December 17.
• Shakespeare Street, between Milton Street and Bruce Highway – December 18 and 19.
• Goldsmith Street, between Shakespeare and Evan streets – December 20 and 21.

Works will take place between 6.30pm and 5am. There is expected to be some noise from plant and equipment used on site.

Traffic control will be in place during the works, and motorists are asked to please follow all site signage.

Please ensure the street is clear of all vehicles to enable smooth operation of the sealing works. This includes trailers, boats and caravans.
