BMA Kidspace hits the road

BMA Kidspace has delighted in delivering another wonderful year of art, craft and music to toddlers and their families in the Mackay region. 2023 has been the first of an exciting five year partnership between Artspace, Mackay Regional Council and BMA.

Linda Murry, General Manager of BMA’s Hay Point Coal Terminal, said BMA is proud of its decade-long support of the BMA Kidspace program and looks forward to continuing the partnership.

“Supporting BMA Kidspace is another great way to contribute to the region’s liveability, and allows our team members with young families to get involved with the local community in a fun and friendly environment,” Ms Murry said.

To celebrate Christmas, BMA Kidspace, council and BMA representatives - and of course Santa Claus - ventured to North Eton CWA Hall for the day.

Mayor Greg Williamson said council is very appreciative of the support provided by BMA.

“BMA Kidspace is one of those programs that has a big impact on children at a very young age,” Mayor Williamson said.

“It helps to foster a love of art, craft and creativity by creating a supportive and fun environment,” he said.
