Council facilities closures:

Sarina Sugar Shed - closed today and tomorrow (Thursday and Friday). Visit their Facebook page for updates regarding reopening on the weekend.
Mackay Regional Council Libraries - will close today at 4pm. Mirani Library is closed.
Bluewater Lagoon Mackay - closed today. Visit their Facebook page for updates.
Gargett Transfer Station - closed due to a fire on the premises. To reopen Saturday (January 27), subject to the weather (https://bit.ly/3vO4wKF)
