Milton Street road maintenance closes southbound lanes

The southbound lane of Milton Street, between Victoria and Gordon streets, will be closed to traffic for night works on Monday, February 5.
The road will be closed to enable council crews to conduct general maintenance works on the traffic lights and water valves.
New asphalt will also be laid in this section of road.
The works are expected to take one night and have been scheduled between 7pm and 4am to minimise disruptions for businesses and motorists.
The southbound lanes will only be open to business owners and their staff during these hours. Detours will be in place for other motorists via Wellington Street onto Gordon Street.
Pedestrians and motorists are asked to please follow all site signage and traffic control instructions.
