Upgrade works at intersection of Shakespeare and Sydney streets

The work involves upgrades to the traffic lights and will be carried out under night shift to help minimise the impacts to businesses and traffic in the area.

Works will be carried out over two nights between 7pm and 6am on Sunday, August 28, and Monday, August 29.

Road closures and detours will be in place each night with normal traffic conditions reinstated each morning.

Motorists are asked to follow the directions of all signage in the area and the instructions of traffic controllers. Pedestrian access will remain in place during the works.
