To celebrate the announcement of Sally Rippin as the Australian Children's Laureate for 2024/2025 we are sharing sally’s message “My hope is to ensure that all children can be supported to access reading in the way that suits them most". Sally Rippin.

There is a story in our collection to suit all ages and abilities – from the School of Monsters, Billie B Brown, Hey Jack, Polly and Buster series (many are also available in our Online Library), to Auslan readings of her picture books in Storybox Library, to her adult non-fiction title Wild Things, which is about how we can help all kids find the joy in reading.
