Computers

Members of the library have access to two hours of computer use per day at all library branches.  Computers are equipped with Internet access, Microsoft Office Suite and an extensive range of other programs and utilities. View the Library Public Internet and Computer Use Policy

Bookings can be made in person or online, at Dudley Denny City, Gordon White, Sarina and Mirani library branches.  Your library membership card is required when booking and using a computer.

Laptop Vending Machine 

Laptop Vending Machine

Enjoy the luxury of deciding where you’d like to sit in the library to do your computer work with our laptop vending machines at Dudley Denny City Library and Gordon White Library.

Laptop vending machines are an innovative, self-service options for customers wishing to use a laptop while visiting the library.

Simply scan your library membership card and interact with the intuitive touchscreen to borrow a laptop for up to two hours and return the laptop by sliding the unit back into its slot.

Any additional loaded software is automatically deleted, and the laptop will be taken back to its “home” state and automatically charged.

Visitors can enjoy unlimited WiFi access at all of our library branches excluding the Mobile Library.  Download eBooks, update apps plus heaps more on our fast, free WiFi.

You can use equipment at all of our library branches to copy, print and scan.

3D Printing

3D Printing

Inspire a new interest in design and bring your creations to life with our 3D printing service.

Click here to upload and request a 3D print.

Designs must be saved as .STL or .OBJ files, which can be created on free programs like tinkercad.com, which also offer free designing tutorials.

Printing costs are charged at $0.25c per gram and can take up to 14 days for your print to be ready.

Working Together Computer Program

Are you in high school, TAFE, university or are enrolled in an apprenticeship program and in need of updated computers to complete your assessments?

We can assist you with your technology needs by extending your free computer time up to six hours.  Just drop into your local library with your student identification card or enrolment information, and we will add the Working Together Program to your library membership.

Mobile Printing 

Mobile Printing Service

Use your personal computer or mobile device to print to the library’s printers from anywhere 24/7.  Simply submit documents for printing and come to the library to release and pick up your document.
